The client envisaged a Central Otago vista for his landscapes, so tussocks, carex and rocks were incorporated into garden beds. Bluestone pool surrounds and pathways complemented the modern architecture of the house while maintaining the connection to the land.
The house itself, overlooks neighbouring farmland and the Waikato River, and the soft and hard scaping connect seamlessly to that surrounding environment.
