Located on the corner of Hay and King Streets in Perth, this 1970s office building was converted into a hotel back in 1997 and operated under the Rydges banner.

CHADA was commissioned in 2015 by UNIR Hotels to provide Interior Design services for the complete design conversion of the sixteen-storey property to a 5-star intercontinental brand.

The scope of work included the total re-planning and renovation of the hotel interiors, involving the design of 240 guestrooms, executive suites and corridors as well as the relocation and expansion of the Executive Club Lounge (Club Intercontinental) and a new Presidential Suite on the top floor.

CHADA collaborated with Australian architecture firm, Woods Bagot.

Over four decades, CHADA has become the number one interior architecture practice specialising in the hotel and leisure industries in Australia and the Pacific Rim.

Our projects range from hotels and resorts to casinos, country and golf clubs and spas, as well as premium residential projects, corporate offices & aged care facilities. We know that we can’t afford to rest on our laurels. Our reputation was hard won and we will continue to prove that we are worthy of it, every day, with every client and on every new project.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
