Although contemporary by nature the design of this garden was greatly influenced through the stylings characterised by formal French provincial architecture and like minded formal garden stylings as a result of the final house architectural design. The client was looking for a unique grandiose garden setting to complement the house design and that would be a point of difference and a stand-out garden of class. Something that would clearly differentiate itself from its neighbouring properties.

To address the client’s brief the landscape design was based around a refined simplicity and a focus on structure. The materials and finishes acting as an extension of the clearly defined house design. With softening and minimalist style detailing provided in the allure of simple hedged greenery.

An iconic heritage termed entry sandstone wall was maintained and restored, and crafts outs the naming rights of the original lot which has now been passed on. The new front garden design coordinated around this element.

Much accuracy and consideration were applied at design stage in relation to site levels. Plotting the house and dealing with the significant site fall, front to rear. The pool was carefully designed into the rear garden with a large water feature wall helping to terrace the rear garden and help deal with this site factor.

A simple but structured planting scheme was implemented to show contrast and bring class and stature to the overall design. Well-manicured hedges and topiary are all living sculptures within the gardens. Boston Ivy meandering across walls ascribe to a renaissance realisation.

A breezeway entry creates a stately entrance to the property’s front door. While a small internal courtyard spills out from the formal dining room into a sophisticated grotto retreat.

We are a complete and vastly comprehensive landscaping services provider, exploring unique and adventurous design aesthetics for esteemed residential gardens. We manage projects from inception to completion and further on from here.

We regard the design of outdoor spaces as both functional and artistic expressions where both elements rely equally on one another. We design for an outdoor lifestyle and enjoy turning challenges into beautiful defining landscaping interpretations.

Our approach carefully honours individual personalities, client requirements and design preferences. With the interest of our clients foremost at our thoughts. We aim to engage with clients in a process that brings discovery and inspires people to connect with their garden in a spirited fulfilling way.
