A luxurious entertainment quarter at Kangaroo Point featuring a stunning geometrical staircase crafted from spotted gum timber, seamlessly connecting the boathouse to the elevated living space while embracing the surrounding landscape.
This extravagant piece poses a challenge; where the challenge arises so does a space for opportunity. A work in progress, the high elevation has required skill and navigation to raise the structure off the ground. A flight of stairs takes you 20 meters from the boathouse to the highest level. The client's dream of a modern entertainment quarter finished with sharp edges and glass surrounds to soak in the sunlight.
February, 2018
A geometrical staircase folds down from the backyard to the boathouse. Built with spotted gun timber and laced with external pine handrails this exterior feature highlights the green landscape. Still under construction, and the final feature of the closure of our luxury home, the staircase brings the house to life. It's not all easy, keep in mind this flight of stairs is a true flight, long and curvy; although steady and sturdy. Morning cardio long walks by the bay or a general trip down to the boathouse for a relaxing Sunday afternoon with family, this feature is bright and salient. Take a look at the revised drawings for the exterior staircase before the photos come through.
