Rebuilding is almost complete at the Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat tourist facility where our Warrior FZ Motorised and Manual Bushfire Shutters were required as part of the reconstruction after devastating bushfires in January 2020.
The motorised shutters seen here, have been designed to exceed minimum fire and smoke testing requirements for commercial and residential developments. The minimum fire ember attack burn time for Warrior FZ Bushfire shutters exceeds the minimum 120 minute rating requirement for commercial developments. Residentially, a 30 minute minimum fire ember attack burn time is the Australian minimum standard.
Engineered to meet requirements of AS3959:2018 for the highest Bushfire Attack Level of FlameZone (BAL‑FZ), these motorised shutters can also be manually deployed via a wall mounted switch. A gravity failsafe system, the motorised shutters will deploy on theloss of power without the need for battery back up.
