The original 1880's worker's cottage required the modern convenience of a family-sized kitchen, laundry and open plan living connected with the outdoors.
Our star features are the special places for the family: the winter sunshine reading spot, the kitchen herb garden, the private parent's deck, and the backyard observation deck overlooking the play areas, garden privacy vine screens and edible native hedges.

About the
Professional

Based in South East Queensland, we work on renovations and extensions on housing from the 1880s to the 2020s, deep energy retrofits as well as off-grid/hybrid new home designs.

My goal is to design homes that you are proud to live in, with features that are livable rather than visual, that future generations can respect.

Esther James is 4305 Design’s Building Designer.

Her job is to guide you through the process of finding out what you can achieve with the available construction budget, designing the best possible scenario for your scope of work, delivering a comprehensive set of detailed construction drawings, identifying the legal requirements for your project, and whose services you need to engage to move from concept idea to approved plans.

Esther’s extracurricular activities include researching emerging approaches to sustainability in residential construction. She is an advocate of the building design profession, mentors building design students and is a member and volunteer with the Building Designers Association of Australia, working towards using the built environment as a solution to climate change.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
