Robertson Architecture Design are delighted to be working with the Ministry of Education and the special community of Lepperton. Lepperton is a rural township in Taranaki with its school at its heart.
In replacing the existing buildings which had weather tightness issues, the design of the new school buildings seeks to represent and reinforce that sense of community, focused on the playing fields with a joint school/community hall.
There are three learning hubs that cater for a wide range of learning experiences from large group performance to quiet reflective individual work. The admin includes a library at its entrance acting like the schools living room and staff café overlooking the fields where the school and community mix.
A medium-sized practice recognized for design excellence with a wealth of experience including education, housing, commercial and passive house design.
