A unique architectural design featuring intersecting curves, innovative materials, and expansive glazing that enhances the connection between interior spaces and breathtaking sea views at Marellen Drive, Red Beach, New Zealand.
Two curves intersect each other in section, forming a unique architecture both grounded into its site and thrown toward the sea views. Innovative materials achieve seamless skins over the curved forms; expansive glazing and vertical weatherboards are sandwiched between them.
Interior materials are kept to a minimum palette; the architecture wraps itself around the inhabitant and allows uninhibited experience of both the constantly changing interior spaces and the spectacular views outside.
