This was a full makeover for this lovely Hataitai house. The project was put together by Bell, Kelly, Beaumont team architecture Classe Build worked with the owners and architects to produce an outcome for all to be proud of.

Nothing was a problem and the communication around all aspects of the job was excellent, especially in terms of finding solutions to the small challenges that every building project seems to throw up after work’s already underway. Project Included:

• The new entranceway to replace a 1970 addition to the original house.
• Repairs and maintenance to existing cladding prior to painting
• Altering and replacing of all windows to new double glazed timber windows back to suit the character of the house.
• New roofing and spouting to replace existing.
• Re-lining and insulating of exterior walls for warmth.
• Installation of new central heating with zones to control heating.
• Opening up of existing living areas by removing walls and brightening up with new skylights and larger windows.
• New master bedroom, ensuite and walk-in wardrobe created.
• Replacement of all internal frames doors to give character back after 1970 alteration.
• New bathroom and ensuite.
• New kitchen.
• Foundation work to make good and brace this house for the future.
