Meticulous Designs embarked on a lovely residential interior design project that required the finished product to resemble a Hamiltons home with a British Columbia twist.
With a stunning green garden that played a significant role in the overall feel of the home, Meticulous Designs knew the final window treatments would need to complement and highlight the stunning green outlook.
Initially, the client had their heart set on Plantation Shutters for their window treatments. However, the windows were not the best fit for Plantation Shutters and a solution that both satisfied the original brief and worked with the current windows had to be found.
With this in mind, Meticulous Designs came up with a brilliant solution to introduce a new texture that was not only sophisticated but had an organic look and feel too - Blinds by Peter Meyer’s exclusive Urban Natural Weave Roman blinds. Since the client only required privacy at night, the Roman blinds would be the perfect solution as this style would not only provide privacy at night, it would open up and give an unfiltered view of the garden by day.
The only challenge from there was to convince the client that the although the Urban Natural Weave blinds would suit the space just as well if not better than their initial idea of Plantation Shutters. Luckily for everyone involved, once everything was up and installed, the client’s were in complete agreement that the Urban Natural Weave blinds were a perfect choice.

The range includes 9 gorgeous weaves with brilliant translucent qualities, 90% UV blockage and superb heat retention. Peter Meyer commenced manufacturing blinds in 1987 after 15 year’s experience as both a retailer and an interior decorator. He applied that knowledge & experience to set up to manufacture high quality custom made blinds for the trade.

The business is now run by his sons, Simon and Damien with Peter becoming chairman of the Board.
