Working with one of Melbournes award-winning custom home builders and renovators' Alternate vision we were able to complete a smart home without impacting the design & delivering a better living experience. It was important for us to understand how the client lives in their home to offer the most suitable solution. With young children it's so convenient to have the simple luxuries of life such as a convenient all-off function on the way out of the home for work or automated night lighting and turn on the heating/cooling system for added comfort in the home when returning from a destination. When entertaining everything is accessible on a smartphone and you can set timers for alfresco heating or run pool features. There is even remote access security systems and preset lighting schedules designed to suit different times of the day the list goes on. This project only enforces how important it is to incorporate smart home technologies even into the smaller projects to enhance the home experience and make the simple mundane tasks in life that much easier to manage.
