Cotton On

The reception area of retail brand Cotton On, located at the brand’s global headquarters in Geelong, is a sumptuously layered space created by Greg Natale Design in collaboration with PTID. A sense of heritage pervades the place from its exterior, designed by Greg Natale in homage to the old local Ford factory and woollen mills, to its hotel-style interior. Meticulous details and beautiful finishes imbue the interior with an old-school grandeur, where statement chandeliers hang above fluted glass panels, black terrazzo floors and mid-century furniture by Milo Baughman. Natale introduced a series of wood-panelled columns to anchor the large space and establish a grid layout, enhanced by ceiling panelling. The columns bring warm, textural appeal and work with furniture and lighting groupings to delineate intimate pockets for staff to gather within the generous design. The hallways, which lead to an open-plan office space behind fluted glass, feature artworks by the group’s designers. With this focus on excellence and its hotel-style luxury, this space reflects the brand’s commitment to its people.
