Nightingale Ballarat banner

Nightingale Housing is coming to Ballarat, a gold-rush era town and a major regional centre in Victoria. Ballarat is rich in history and boasts a burgeoning creative community, direct rail links to Melbourne and a growing local economy.

In May 2019, Breathe Architecture and Nightingale Housing came to Ballarat for our first Nightingale information session and were humbled to receive such a warm, enthusiastic welcome. Thanks to all those who came along to learn about the Nightingale model and what it could mean for the inner-city community of Ballarat. We appreciate the support, energy and helpful feedback from your local community and are looking forward to getting to know you all a little more. Balloting is now closed.

We are proud to acknowledge the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the land upon which Nightingale Ballarat stands. We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture.

Australia’s most awarded sustainable design firm, and its most dependable.

Our Approach

Breathe undertakes meaningful projects we can be proud of — those that align with our purpose and values.

Since we focus on maximising positive impact, many of our projects don’t fit the common definition of ‘architecture’.

We work to understand who we’re designing for. We strive to inspire, engage and support our clients and the broader communities we serve.

We prioritise social, environmental and economic sustainability in every project. We question the status quo to pursue outcomes that are informed by, and seek to better, those that came before.

Above all, we prioritise ethics along with aesthetics, and design without ego, to create the best outcomes for our clients and their communities.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
