About the
Professional

Jan Hemesath is the Founder, Director and Nominated Architect of Project Hemesphere, established in 2019. Jan was born, raised and educated in Germany and the United States of America.

After accomplishing his HSC, Jan completed his compulsory military service as a paratrooper for the German Army which successfully was followed by an apprenticeship as a certified joiner.

Jan then decided to further his education and had the opportunity to study and complete his architectural degree at the renown Bauhaus University, Weimar.

These years of practical experience while working as a joiner and being taught the minimalist principles of design by the Bauhaus philosophy have formed his practical, direct and openminded approach towards architectural design.

These influences are reflected in Project Hemesphere’s Core Values and Design Philosophy.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
