Oakleigh South Childcare Centre
This award-winning project implemented an offsite pre-fabrication construction method to construct an innovative and technology ready centre. The CLT construction, composed of multiple layers of sustainably sourced wood, ensures structural stability while significantly reducing carbon emissions. The process also enabled a greatly reduced onsite struction time, assisting in construction cost management. The result was the centre being awarded the Best Sustainable Project 2018 by the Master Builders Association of Victoria.
