Built from 1977-78, the Ockens House in Cromer, Sydney, Australia was originally designed by Pritzker Prize winning architect, Glenn Murcutt. The House is a uniquely different to its modest suburban surrounds with all of the rooms arranged around a lush central courtyard, framing the view over Narrabeen Lake.

In 2013, after purchasing the Ockens House, the clients approached Scale to assist them in restoring the home to its original design intent.

In consultation with the Murcutt, Scale oversaw the restoration of the home, providing general design updates and advice to the client.
