Positioned above Oneroa Bay, this Waiheke home was carefully constructed to respond to its coastal setting, maximise expansive sea views and create a strong connection between indoor and outdoor living. Built by Whelan Building, the project reflects the experience of trusted Waiheke builders who understand the complexities of building on challenging island sites. Working closely with the project team, Whelan Building delivered a highly detailed architectural build defined by clean lines, natural materials and refined craftsmanship. From site preparation through to finishing details, the construction focused on durability, precision and creating spaces designed for relaxed coastal living. As experienced local builders, Whelan Building understands the importance of balancing architectural intent with practical construction solutions, particularly within Waiheke’s unique landscape and conditions. Large openings, outdoor entertaining areas and carefully considered material selections all contribute to a home that feels grounded in its environment while taking full advantage of the elevated bay outlook.
