Shadō were engaged for the renovation contracting works which updated the three level heritage terrace house with a contemporary touch. A series of high-end fittings were featured in the installation which included Boffi joinery, Vola heated towel rails, and light fittings from Inlite and Iguzzini.

Further to the contracting works, we were engaged to come up with lighting solutions for the bathrooms and stairwells. The brief informed us that the bathrooms would have luxury finishes and required a contemporary and minimalist lighting solution. To address this we focused on providing diffused recessed linear lighting to wash over walls. This would keep the ceilings free of down lights and highlight the feature tiled walls. We extended this lighting approach to the stairways, using wall-washing linear fixtures to illuminate the steps while maintaining the clean, minimalist aesthetic.
