The project centered on a Hamptons-style beach house with a prominent cathedral ceiling in the living room and kitchen area. The client emphasised this architectural feature as the home's main selling point and  also requested a lighting scheme that would make the property stand out at night for potential buyers.

To address the client's needs, our lighting design focused on two key areas. Inside, we utilised uplighting to accentuate the cathedral ceiling. This highlighted the grandeur of the feature ceiling, adding the  perception of height, while indirectly providing soft, ambient illumination, free of glare to the main living space. Outside, we enhanced the home's nocturnal presence by uplighting a large gum tree in the front yard, uplighting the cathedral ceiling’s exterior, and adding strategic wall lighting to the façade, ensuring the property would capture attention in the evening hours.
