Pakowhai Road Tiny Home was designed as a transportable dwelling, with a footprint of just 28m².
The home includes kitchen and living spaces, plus one bedroom, a bathroom and a laundry area
Sliding barn doors secure the tiny home.
Even the rear of the container has windows that have been cut into the shipping container to bring light into the interior.
Planted trees, pot plants and outdoor furniture help to make the container dwelling more like a home.
One end of the container has a large window inserted to bring light into the bedroom.
The doors of the existing container open up a laundry area to the exterior.
Containers are not designed to be habitable so there is a process to go through to modify them and ensure they are compliant.
