Problem – Residential development proposed partly outside the Metropolitan Urban Limit within an area not served by wastewater or stormwater infrastructure. The development needed to be integrated into the existing Kaukapakapa residential area, all without public notification or written approvals.
Solution – Propose carefully designed complete residential village development package with sensitive stormwater management/decentralised wastewater system with carefully integrated design package for each lot with specialist urban design/architect/engineering/ survey/legal input.
Benefits – Extremely successful full consented and developed residential village enhancing the existing historic Kaukapakapa Village area.
