Problem – Replace the schools assembly hall with a new auditorium facility that would not undermine the schools much loved heritage buildings, with heritage values requiring careful consideration within an extensive approval process, and within tight project time frames.
Solution – Ensure full understanding of the values and issues across the Council/developer divide, including understanding of the completion time frames required to be met.
Benefits – All approvals obtained on time, with Council project buy-in that was then applied across several other developments within the school.
