Problem – Replacement Arts Centre required close to the Avon River designed to maximise the benefits of access and amenity of the river, but within a flood sensitive area and with issues associated with parking, construction, public versus private use, and with strict timeframes associated with the development process.
Solution – Understand flood scenarios and surrounding development context, and using a multitude of mitigation measures to ensure full consenting within an appropriate timeframe.
Benefits – All approvals obtained on time, with a facility relating well to the Avon River.
