The whole focus of thid home was around the views and outlook. We wanted to draw the beach and the natural environment into the hime to create the feeling that you are sitting on the beach or almost able to dangle your feet in the creek
Having large expanses of glass in minimal frames that disappeared into the backdrop was critical in bringing the spaces to life.
The naturally weathering hardwood along with the charred Shou Sugi Ban details tie this home to its surroundings and remind us of the beauty of the natural environment around us.
The spa on the rooftop was a nice touch as well.
