A huge wetland project to capture storm water support local wildlife.
Designing habitats is what we love to do! We were able to turn this once flat grassy paddock into a small lake and a thriving habitat for frogs, lizards, fish, yabbies, insects and birds! Below the water tunnels, tree trunks and large boulders create underwater habitat and protective areas for all the underwater creatures. The native water plantings filter the water and provide food and shelter for insects, birds and frogs alike. We were thrilled to have this project featured on Gardening Australia in 2018.
