When designer Craig Hooper was given a brief to create a high-end wine room adjacent to his client's lounge, and also re-imagine the home office to create a more sumptuous and masculine environment, he knew that the depth and richness of Prime Toitū American Walnut Veneer was going to deliver the wow factor.
Toitū American Walnut has been used to line the entire wine room - walls, wine racks, drawers and the ceiling, with recessed LED lighting overhead and underneath key cabinetry creating an atmospheric glow invoking the atmosphere of a cosy vintner's club.
With such a large amount of veneer being used, the Toitū American Walnut with its mismatched leaves in a planked layon eliminated the need for panel matching, leaving joinery firm Cooper Webley to focus on the incredibly detailing evident in every corner and join.
As part of the project, an office also received a similar make-over with Toitū Walnut also featuring on the ceiling, walls, desk and shelving.
