RXP again chose to partner with Contour on the design and fit-out of their new Innovation Hub in Sydney.
Our client asked us to create an office with a homely and cosy atmosphere. It was important for them to encourage employees to feel at home while at work. The idea was to create an IT office, which was innovative but also user friendly, creating a feeling of living space within an office.
The space was designed to reflect a New York loft style interior, with mullion detailing to glazed partitioning, marquee bulb letter signage and street art characteristics through the use of wallpaper. The imperfect, exposed concrete floors and ceilings create a relaxed, comfortable feel. This combination of materials, careful space planning and overarching cultural vision create an office environment that aims to attract and retain top talent.
Work happens anywhere here, and a wide range of alternative work spaces was designed beyond the workstations, including the casual lounge, meeting rooms and the multiple areas of soft seating scattered throughout the Innovation Hub.
