A harmonious blend of Scandinavian simplicity and rustic chic in a 100-year-old Karaka Villa, featuring white engineered stone, exposed brick walls, and natural pale oak, expertly designed by Renovation Partner Kim Reiche from Refresh Renovations.
There’s no shortage of urban style in this 100-year-old Karaka Villa. The homeowners had a specific idea about what they wanted for their design: white engineered stone, an exposed brick wall feature, white lacquered cabinetry, and natural pale oak. They trusted Kim’s expertise to find the best way to utilise these materials, and she delivered.
Scandinavian practicality can be felt throughout the design, which is warmed up by the rustic features in the brick walls and natural oak shelving. The two design styles exist in perfect harmony.
