As one of Wollongong’s leading Mental Health services, Self Reflections required a warm and tranquil space for their clients to feel at home in. A total of six consult rooms along with reception and a staff kitchen were refurbished to create a welcoming and calm environment for both clients and the team.

A custom reception bench with a laminate marble-look countertop was created to provide an impactful first impression for the clinic’s clientele. Custom joinery was fitted throughout and adapted to suit the varied needs of each consult room, while we liaised with the designer, client, and trades surrounding other design solutions such as the acrylic render behind the reception space.

The fit-out took place in a bustling shared building thus requiring communication between Innovatus and other offices within the space. Loud works were scheduled to reduce any possible disturbances and all areas were kept immaculate in respect of other tenants. The floor underwent grinding to even it out and ameliorate pre-existing issues, while the kitchen underwent a complete re-design.

High-quality finishes were imperative for the space to achieve its potential. Our on-site team offered their knowledge through the project’s entirety and ensured all stakeholders were happy with the process and end result.
