Narrow block design UNDER CONSTRUCTION This new home has been designed for a young doctor, located within the new Montario Quarter development in Shenton Park, Perth. The site is a narrow 10m width, with boundary walls running along the 30m length. The building envelope has been carefully considered to provide coherence across the building rather than the creation of a ‘front’ facafe and a ‘rear facade which is so often typical of designs in such developments. The design places an empahsis on blending the internal and exterior spaces, a major challenge for an enclosed site. The project commenced construction mid-2022 with an anticipated build period of twelve months.
