As Dulwich Hill’s Small Talk was busting at the seams, with focaccias, bagels (my personal favourite -‘lox’), pastries, pickles, donuts and it was time to expand into the former Subway on Glebe Point Road, Glebe. Originally a loyal customer of the Dulwich Hill cafe, I was thrilled to be involved in developing the next venture. Owner Sam Terrey was very in tune with the requirements and aesthetics he sought for his new shop - mainly a simple material palette, and a functional space to bake!

The shop was conceived as a take-away premises with casual seating available for patrons in the adjacent courtyard. There is a small retail offering, providing deli goods from local Australian producers. The space is light filled, functional and friendly. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend visiting Sam and his friendly crew.
