It boasts a large corten steel rain screen fascia supported by a substantial engineered steel super structure which gives this house an incredible indoor out door flow with large stacking glass doors throughout and several cosy spaces to enjoy the outdoors with adequate shelter. 

The inner courtyard is the heart of the house, surrounded by a perimeter hallway that separates the children's wing from the living, dining and master suite. The courtyard itself creates a space only accessible from inside the house which makes for the perfect outdoor area protected from the at times harsh Central Otago weather but also creating shade and tranquility for those epic bluebird days. 

The house is slightly elevated creating a floating effect with minimal impact on the surrounding landscape and existing trees. Timber screen cedar battens against a corten steel outdoor fireplace create a private and weather proof alfresco area that connects back into the house when the stacking doors are open.
