Before its renovation, the kitchen and laundry of this 1960s bungalow weren’t equipped for modern-day living. The homeowners knew both spaces required visual improvements, but making practical upgrades was just as important.

What followed was a complete revamp of the kitchen and laundry, resulting in stylish interiors that are much more functional to use. In the kitchen, new shaker cabinets, stone benchtops, and a seafoam-green tiled splashback add an understated elegance to the design. In addition, the new electric oven and gas hobs significantly improve the kitchen’s overall quality.

As for the laundry, the space received upgraded storage and new timber flooring to replace the old linoleum. And to complete the bungalow’s renovation, the home’s timber flooring was polished throughout.
