Designed by Architect Mark Carnachan and built by Calley Homes this project on the edge of Mount Maunganui’s coastline saw a semi-detached townhouse separated from the adjoining property and then rebuilt. As the house islocated in the coastal erosion zone it has been constructed in a way it can be deconstructed if future erosion occurs.

​Built over three levels with four bedroom and three bathrooms the home features concrete tilt panels and cedarboardand batten cladding. The home has large architectural exterior joinery from floor to ceiling. Feature external cedar screens add privacy and also provide fall protection as the large interior sliding doors open to the ocean.

The clients passion for Interior design is evident throughout with flawless detailing and a seamless aesthetic. With a neutral palette and natural elements such as marble, stone, timber and wool this home feels relaxed and restful.

The Kitchen's central island is made from Matarazzo leathered finished marble and the kitchen cabinetry is timber in finish.The space opens onto two outdoor living spaces one which overlooks the beach and the other a private courtyard.

This open plan area is the hub to the central level entertaining area. Upstairs the generous master suite takes in the breathtaking views of the ocean from a private lounge space. A walk in robe and master ensuite with feature lighting finish the luxe bedroom feel in the master bedroom.
