Du Bois Design Ltd is proud to present the Takapuna Classic Ensuite, a stunning example of creating a unique look for a bathroom renovation. Highly commended by the TIDA in 2020, this project showcases the craftsmanship and classic design that Du Bois Design Ltd is renowned for.
Part of a full interior renovation, this ensuite was designed to capture a sense of nostalgia. A wall of individual antiqued mirrored panels were carefully planned and templated to fit four equal rows across the wall, with a custom designed flush fitting bevelled octagonal mirror adding a special and unique touch. The clients wanted a storage solution that was unobtrusive, so the tall storage cabinet was designed with extra depth, blended away and painted the same navy blue as the walls.
The use of large, light Carrara porcelain tiles for both the floors and walls provided a sense of spaciousness which was further highlighted by the dark navy walls, creating a beautiful contrast. Behind the mirrored wall lies a large shower providing an ample private space for showering, with the beautiful quality Perrin and Rowe chrome fixtures adding even more shine to the room.

About the
Professional
Multi award-winning designer, Natalie Du Bois, founded Du Bois Design in 2007. Her bespoke design practice is founded and focussed on creating kitchens, bathrooms and interiors that are completely ‘in tune’ with her clients.
