A modern extension to a heritage-listed residence featuring an in-ground pool, basement parking, and a wine cellar, all set within a botanical garden landscape, completed in 2019.
Talbot house was originally built in the 1860’s and sat on an open outcrop above the sandy bluff off Beaumaris beach. The extension to the heritage listed residence includes an in-ground pool, basement and car parking, wine cellar set in a botanical garden landscape. The slender cruciform steelwork of the modern simplistic veranda wraps around the eastern façade creating a glazed promenade that lightly touches the existing building.
