This modest four-bedroom home was too small for our clients. The family of four needed a spacious family living area that could take advantage of the lovely, sunny rear garden.

The designs solution was to add a gabled addition with new kitchen and dining area to the rear of the existing house. The former kitchen and dining space provided space for a new playroom and laundry, and the existing bathrooms were updated. A new area of timber decking level with the new addition provides integration with the outdoors and a large u-shaped window seat provides a generous place to relax between the indoors and outdoors.
