Designed for Airbnb surrounded by lakes and mountains, this new build project included specification of all interior finishes, interior joinery, furniture, wallpapers and furnishings, right down to the bedding. Two units sit within one building each with unique bedroom and living colour schemes, which all coordinate across the whole dwelling.
Darryl's Tekapo Short Term Rental Investment project is all about blending modern style with practical comfort. Completed in 2024, this multi-unit dwelling features five bedrooms, each uniquely designed yet perfectly coordinated to create a cohesive and inviting atmosphere. The two living areas are distinct but complement each other seamlessly, offering cosy spaces for relaxing or entertaining guests.
Within the two units, there's two kitchens and three bathrooms with 3 separate toilets to ensure plenty of convenience for guests. Custom furniture and furnishings were selected for their durable, easy-care fabrics to stand up to busy holiday stays. The overall look is modern and stylish, with thoughtful touches that make each space feel both functional and welcoming — Darryl’s investment is certainly a standout in the area.
