The Hub is the center of activity for Dunlop Builders. Essentially an ‘architectural shed’, the office and workshop space reflects who we are as a company and fits with our commitment to mastery, home and community.

The Hub combines elegant architecture with sustainable design principles and the office space has achieved Passive House Plus certification – a first for an office in New Zealand. Working with Steven Lloyd Architecture & PAC Studio we ensured that both function and form were considered, and that the building and interior space is beautiful to the eye and joy to work from.

VIA architecture undertook embodied carbon modelling and quantified the benefits of our decisions and benchmarked the building against NZ and international embodied carbon initiatives.

Full details of the materials, construction and design elements can be found here.

About the
Professional

Dunlop Builders are Wānaka's premier architectural builder.

Started by Bryce and Donnelle Dunlop in 2003, following in the footsteps of two generations of builders before them. The company has since grown to a team of thirty passionate, professional, and highly-skilled people.

A long list of awards and satisfied clients are the result of meticulous attention to every stage of the process. From planning and pricing to crafting bespoke architectural details, we get the best result on every project we deliver.

When you engage Dunlop Builders for your project you know you can push the boundaries of architecture with confidence.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
