Tony (or Bones as he is known) is renown for his work using cedar in building superior quality homes. Cedar is a high-performance product which suits most architectural designs.  Tony likes to use cedar for its durability and ambient finish.

Tony (Bones) Lepelaars Builders is a second-generation building business which has been servicing Central Hawkes Bay for over 50 years.

Three generations of the Lepelaars family have been involved with its continued success.

Tony’s father Harry came to CHB in the 1960s and very quickly became a well-known name around CHB.

Tony is his own project manager, this means you are dealing with the boss himself. During the complete building process Bones likes to have regular meetings with his clients, this keeps his clients fully engaged and eliminates any stress for them.

He is a member of the Certified Builders Association and attends regular meetings so he can keep up with any changes happening in the building industry.

Lynda Lepelaars is their Office Manager dealing with all the accounts and son Karl, a qualified carpenter, is actively involved in the family business running various jobs.
