The Illawong Street Residence
REBIRTH OF A 1960’S CLASSIC
The photos of the existing show a house that had good bones but no life, the young family wanted a contemporary home with new life and so a rebirth was required and the birth was dramatic. The elevated portion of the home was extended providing larger more spacious bedrooms, the red brick was cement rendered giving a modern and inviting feel and the existing sandstone panel was retained and added character next to the new modern front door.
