At Lothian, our starting point was the particular history of North Melbourne, especially as understood with respect to the types of dwellings being proposed. We looked to local examples of nineteenth and early twentieth century industrial buildings, the handsomely scaled warehouses and the impressive edifices of manufacturing’s golden age. Red bricks, the material of choice for our reference buildings, formed a launch point for the formal expression of the building and suggested both detail and ornament. - Kennedy Nolan, Designers of The Lothian

Krause Bricks has been a family owned and run business since 1945. The traditional craftsmanship and methods of clay brickmaking have been passed down through three generations, with each one adding their own innovations and modernisations.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
