By Goodson Architects
A new residence on a 483 m2 site in an inner city suburb. Due to the steepness of the site a large amount of excavation and retaining was required to accommodate the building. The house is constructed over three stories with the lower level containing a garage with internal access, bedroom, ensuite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. Second floor includes open plan living, dining and kitchen areas. On the third floor are two bedrooms, a bathroom, office and storage. Although the site is restricted, outdoor spaces have been created on the lower and middle levels. Total floor area is 148m2.
