As a builder there are some projects where you walk into a house, read a set of plans, converse with the owners about their vision and automatically feel connected with the direction and goals – This was one of them. This project was not only a first-floor addition but more importantly, a full restoration of a charming 1920’s property that had been relatively untouched since its beginnings.
It involved careful collaboration between the restoration of charm and the modern practicalities of how families now use their homes.
Every material specification was thought through meticulously and had a purpose within this space. As you walk through the home you now realize a certain sense of harmony and connection – a direct result of the success of each design decision and its execution.
