This originally steep and difficult to use rear garden has been transformed into a classical oasis with an Italian twist. Umbaco consulted closely with our client was deeply involved throughout the design and construction process. Our concepts were frequently modified on the go and were excellent tool during construction to resolve challenging level issues.

Beautiful earthy tone stone was selected for wall materials. In contrast, the turquoise finish to the pool tiles was to juxtapose the crisp Italianate surroundings. EarthyTuscan pots were hand selected to complement the theme and were populated with fragrant lavenders, oranges and flowering Pelargoniums. Every finish and fixture was carefully considered with some being copper and some stainless steel. The delightful wall fountain was selected by the owner. The outdoor oven (which is frequently used) adds to the Tuscan signature.

UmbaCo Landscape Architects is a creative and dynamic landscape design studio based in Sydney. Founded in 2001, we work across the Sydney region and New South Wales on a broad range of projects, including residential, commercial, educational, age care and public open spaces.

We are a small team known for big innovative design ideas and talents.

Clients tell us they are often impressed by how proactive, energetic and efficient we are and how we think outside of the square. We keep to timelines and pride ourselves on our quality and high standards.

And we love a challenge! We are not daunted by bigger and more complex projects and we’ve been successful in winning awards for our work, both nationally and in NSW

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
