This stunning kitchen by Natalie du Bois picked up five awards at the 2021 NKBA Excellence in Design Awards - including Runner Up for the Supreme Kitchen Design, Creative Excellence Award, Outstanding Renovation, Best Kitchen in the $80-100k category and NKBA Auckland Chapter award.
It's easy to see why. With a brief from the owners of a coastal bach to have a minimalist, mid-century modern kitchen that made them feel like they were on holiday from the moment they walked in the door, Natalie created a space that the judges described as having a 'wonderful lightness and calmness.'
The user-friendly galley island with a curved configuration was designed to complement the sea views and the Bestwood Natural Veneer cabinetry in European Oak Crown Cut references the timber style used for mid-century furniture.
