Voyager has been with Pocketspace from the beginning and we have loved seeing Voyager grow into an epic New Zealand business leader. The existing space was a mixture of old desks thrown together as new staff members would join. The new space is a progressive and dynamic office that provides all staff members an amazing work culture where they can thrive and pass on their love for Voyager through to their customers.
The space has been space planned to fit in three meeting rooms, a hush room, large staff cafeteria and breakout space, a miniputt green, and a staff footprint of 35 people.
All of the desks are sit stand which was important to provide a high level of wellbeing and productivity integrated into the space. The custom printed images are one from Christchurch where their other office is, and an image of a northland beach. The idea was for at times work can be stressful, so these images provided a psychological relief from everyday pressures to promote a relaxed atmosphere. The mini putt green and gaming zones also provide an outlet for users to relax on lunch breaks or as team bonding exercises.
Down at the other end you will find two high barleaners with a soft breakout zone, and a blackboard for writing the weekly food menu or notices for everyone to see. The climbing plant wall provides this space with a sanctuary feel blocking the view point of their workspace.
