Aurecon's innovative new Auckland workplace, Te Tihi, truly reflects their company culture of believing it, saying it, and doing it.

The incorporation of natural timbers into the project design was a pivotal step in integrating New Zealand's cultural elements. These timber materials were thoughtfully utilized in multiple aspects of the fitout, encompassing the flooring, a substantial portion of the joinery, and the striking staircase. This infusion brought about a sense of warmth and richness that distinctly represents New Zealand.

Our dedicated team at Surface took charge of the interior decoration, timber treatments, concrete coatings, and achieved a milestone with one of the first large corrugated in-situ artisan plaster finishes along the expansive curved wall. This accomplishment not only showcases our commitment but also adds a unique artistic dimension to the space.
