Whakatipua House banner

This is an addition to a large house by Peter Beavan, built about 25 years ago. The house is called Whakatipua. The house has many interesting interior spaces, but it was difficult to feel warm in winter in such a vast interior. This addition has given them a warm and sunny winter retreat as well as a place to display sculpture, painting and books. There is now an indoor/outdoor experience made possible by the ground floor location and the many French doors.
