This garden was a complete transformation for delightful clients. Faced with a neglected and tired space, with challenging levels and access, we opened up the back garden with sweeping lawns and deep boundary planting designed to eventually screen out the adjacent road and CFA station. The pool was refurbished, and wider areas of paving and lawn were created around the pool, with a retaining wall that doubles as casual seating. The ugly embankment of rocks was planted out with lush groundcovers to cover and disguise, creating views from inside the house. A new pergola-covered dining area and formal vegetable garden were created down the side of the house.
In the front garden, we worked with the westerly aspect, creating sweeping beds of Mediterranean-influenced planting, creating a beautiful approach to the house. We're now working with the clients on their next project.
